The Pelican Explorer 14.6 canoe is a versatile family canoe, if you're looking for a canoe that can do a multitude of things for not a lot of money then look no further. This canoe offers great stability due to its width and a lot of comfort with it folding backrest giving that much needed back support.
The Pelican Explorer 14.6 is a stable open canoe that will give you the confidence on the water and will allow you to focus on enjoying your day out. The middle bench seat is great for taking a friend and inside there is even a handy little cooler section to keep your refreshments cool and easy to access. Built in the middle seat there are features such as drinks holders and vertical rod rests. The low maintenance seats are plastic as are the folding backrests and the paddling position is great for relaxed, efficient paddle strokes. There is enough space on board to bring your four legged with you on your trip or even some camping gear if you fancy it.
The hull of the Pelican Explorer 14.6 is made from the wonderful Ram-X material. This is a High Molecular Weight plastic that gives amazing durability at a weight and cost that is extremely reasonable. The plastic bow and stern end plates have comfortable carry handles built in and the whole canoe has an overall feel of quality.
