Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 E

The Wilderness systems Tarpon 120 E, bigger brother of the Tarpon 100, is a comfortable and well thought out sit on top which is popular with both touring paddlers and kayak fisherman thanks to its good hull speed and excellent stability. The Tarpon's most attractive feature is the Phase 3 Airpro seat which offers unrivalled comfort with an adjustable height back pad, built in leg lifter and ergonomic design.

The hull of the Tarpon 120 E is designed with a full length keel for easy tracking and has a wave piercing bow design for superior handling in rougher conditions. Combined with the wide hull shape for extra stability, as well as molded in tracking channelsthe 120 really is a versatile boat.

The deck layout is well thought out no matter what your using the Tarpon for; an 8" round hatch just infront of the seat is great for those on the water essentials and storage pockets either side of your legs are ideal or fishing tackle etc. The adjustable foot pedals that are fitted as standard offer better support and control over the boat than conventional molded foot rests and tend to be more comfortable for extended journeys.

The Tarpon 120 also features a large front storage hatch, a huge storage well behind the seat with bungee's to keep your gear secure, convenient side mounted carry handles and slide trax rail for mounting of accessories front and rear. The Slide trax system, when combined with a Trax Mounting plate (see recommended kit tab) can be used to mount scotty rod holders without drilling the kayak.
