The Islander Jive is an extremely stable and user friendly touring kayak designed to be paddled on calm inland and costal conditions. Thanks to its smooth rounded hull, the Jive offers confidence and performance to intermediate kayakers and is an ideal boat for those wanting to go the extra mile out on their day trip.

The Jive’s compact size means it has a great level of maneuverability to turn quickly when required, yet the v-shaped bow and stern will increase efficiency to track in a straight line. The Islander Jive also features a large storage compartment at the stern, with mini-cell foam sealed bulkhead. There are also bungee cord areas for on-deck storage, great for attaching a deck bag. The addition of the drop down skeg will keep you tracking straight in more demanding conditions. A great weekend boat, as it paddles well in a variety of environments and conditions.

The Islander Jive features an integrated seat with a supportive backrest and adjustable foot pedals, to find a comfortable fit. The thigh/knee braces are secure but not too aggressive making the kayak easy to get in and out of.
