Enigma Code Sea & Touring Kayak Paddle
The Enigma Code is a range of lightweight day touring & sea kayaking paddles featuring an adustable length carbon shaft and adjustable feather. The Codes mid-sized di-hedral blade design is a classic touring shape that suits a wide range of paddlers and abilities. Great for day touring & sea kayakers of all abilities, this blade design offers smooth operation with reduced drag and minimal 'blade flutter'.
The Enigma Code features a 2-piece paddle shaft design that offers infinite blade angle (feather) adjustment, meaning you can change your paddle settings on the water with ease to handle changing paddling conditions. This is made easy with the Enigma Code paddles corrosion resistant, tough plastic adjustment clamp. The Codes carbon paddle shaft also features ovalisation at each hand positioning point to offer increased grip whilst paddling as well as a length adjustable carbon paddle shaft that provides adjustment from 215cm to 225cm.
Suitable for use with a wide range of kayaks from narrower sit-ins, expedition sea kayaks, to wider sit on top kayaks, tandem kayaks, inflatable kayaks and fishing kayaks.
Full Carbon with Foam Core Blade and Cranked Shaft - This is the top of the range Enigma Code paddle featuring a full carbon build, a cranked shaft and foam core blades. The foam core blades are extremely lightweight and are extra buoyant to create super smooth paddle strokes. The cranked shaft version also has a length adjustable ferrule, from lengths 210cm to 220cm, which is great for use in varying paddling conditions so you can benefit from multiple paddling stances. These paddles are designed to be used in deep water for ocean play, long distance touring, or paddling calm inland waters.
If you're also going to be playing and paddling in shallow waters amongst rocks then we would highly recommend the Code Red as your deck paddle, as this combo would provide you with the best benefits from each style of paddle.
