| Venture Canoes Ranger 14 & 16 Canadian Canoes The Venture Canoes Ranger is made from a modern Core Lite material to make them lighter and tougher than previous models. The Venture Canoe Ranger 14 & 16 are still constructed with 3 layers, 2 layers of plastic with a foam core giving them strength and buoyancy. The Ranger has a slight rocker on the hull which makes them superb all round open canoes for canoeing. The Ranger is a proven design and the benefits of the Corelite material prove to be popular with individuals and centres. The Ranger from Venture Canoes comes in two different sizes, the Ranger 14 and Ranger 16. For recreational paddlers and families we recommend the Ranger 16 as it tracks easily and offers a greater carrying capacity. The Ranger 14 is well suited for paddlers who wish to paddle solo, ocassionally tandem. Prices Ranger 14 with 2 Wood / Webbed Seats £699 Ranger 16 with 2 Wood / Webbed Seats £729 The Ranger 14 and Ranger 16 are also available with plastic seats, these are recommended for commercial/club use. The wood and web seats are more comfortable for personal use.
