Perception Kiwis - Stable Open Cockpit Touring Kayaks
The Perception Kiwi 2 & 3 are very popular touring kayaks for flat water paddling. They are a great alternative to Canadian Canoes as they are very stable and easy to paddle. The open cockpit design gives easy access to the two comfortable moulded seats with ample space for all of the family to join in the fun. A centre child seat is an optional extra. The front seat easily adjusts for Solo paddling, leaving plenty of space for gear stowage. A versatile kayak from Perception with its very stable hull and user friendly handling which allows even the inexperienced paddlers to enjoy time on the water and explore their surroundings.
A standard car roof rack will carry a Perception Kiwi, its best to transport the Kiwis upside down to protect the hull. If you require a roof rack please call us as we sell Thule roof racks.
Both models have 2 seats with plenty of back support, (Kiwi 3 seats are padded with higher back support)
The Kiwi 3 is a little faster than the Kiwi 2 and offers more storage capacity. Kiwi 3 is available with a rear storage hatch compartment - this is the Expedition model.

Equipment that you may need
A paddle & buoyancy aid are essential items of equipment that you will need. The standard paddle recommended has an alloy shaft and plastic blades. The Deluxe Paddle has a lighter glass fibre shaft. Other equipment & accessories are also available
