Carolina 12. Stable Touring Kayak The Perception Carolina 12 is the shorter of the two Carolinas. The Carolina 12 offers superb stability and comfort for those who wish to travel in luxury. The backrest has adjustable height and tension which is easily adjustable from the cockpit. The Carolina has a V shaped hull for tracking and because of this hull there isn't a need for an adjustable skeg. The Carolina can have a rudder fitted if required. The cockpit on the Carolina 12 is larger than some of its competitors but it does offer ease of exit and entry. Some smaller paddlers may find it a bit too roomy. The Carolina 12 is complete with 2 hatches, deck elastics, deck lines, adjustable footrests, adjustable backrest and end toggles.
