The P and H Vela is designed for the smaller paddler who finds the majority of sea kayaks a little on the large side. The Vela hull is hard chined and convex to offer the maximum amount of stability for a kayak of this beam. The P & H Touring Vela is shorter and lighter making it more manageable on and off the water. The Vela has a gentle flare to prevent the kayak diving and helping the paddler to stay a drier in a steep choppy sea.
