The Old Town Penobscot 174 Canadian Canoe is one of the most popular open canoes for families due to its large carrying capacity and easy paddling characteristics.
Made from tough and strong Polylink 3 plastic durability is not an issure, the hull shape slips through the water, glides over rocks and accepts being dragged up on gravel shorelines without complaining. It's sturdy enough to forgo a metal framework or keelson. The perfect canoe for the family or those planning more extended canoeing trips. Wood/webbed seats, ash thwarts, ash carrying yoke, black vinyl gunwales, bow and stern decks with grab handles.
Supplied with 2 fixed seats, young children can kneel in the centre of the canoe or optional ABS snap in seats can be fitted.
