You can even take a third passenger (depending on weight), which makes it the perfect sit on top kayak for paddling as a family. Best paddled on flat water, (bays, estuaries, lakes and ponds), small ocean swells or waves and slow moving rivers. These kayaks car top easily and are a must for the beach. Try surfing a double, its a riot but leave a bit of room between you and other water users because when a Mal 2 takes off on a wave you don't have too much control. If you intend surfing wear a helmet or the Mal 2 will give you a clip around the ear.
