Gumotex Rush 1
New from Gumotex, the Rush 1 has all the features of a top touring kayak - it just happens to be an inflatable and will pack down and fit into the boot of your car. Made from Gumotex tried and tested strong Nitrilon this model has a single layer hyperlon hull. This hyperlon designed has complex panels to give a hydrodynamic shape to the bow and stern, something not seen in many inflatable kayaks. The floor is dropstitch and so gives added rigidity as it can be pumped up to 7-8psi.
An optional extra fully removable deck which can accept a nylon spraydeck is also available for those wanting complete weather protection. There are also 2 aluminium bracing struts which further enhance an already stiff hull and keep the deck taught. On top of the kayak there are bungees and a cargo net for plenty of storage and of course room for drybags below decks.
The seat and footrest are also dropstitch for comfort and security when paddling rougher water. There are fittings for an optional rudder. The new Rush 1 from Gumotex is a versatile, fast and capable touring kayak that can cope with grade 2 whitewater and also fits in the boot of your car or even on the bus!
The Gumotex Rush 1 is an ideal solo inflatable kayak that can be used on rivers, harbours and light coastal areas. An excellent choice for the variety of waterways the South Coast has to offer.
