Werner Shuna
The Shuna is one of the most popular sea kayaking and touring paddles on the market; its mid sized high angle blades make it perfect for many different paddlers. Whether it be for long distance touring, rock hopping or skill work, the Shuna offers the perfect blend; it has enough power when you need it but wont tire you over long distances.
The dihedral shape of the Werner blades allow smooth forward and directional paddling whilst the low profile reinforcement spine adds strength and rigidity to the blade without compromising the efficiency or manouverability of the blade.
The Shuna comes with Werner's patented adjustable ferrule as standard, meaning that the paddle can be split down into two piece and offers the option of left or right handed paddling, with a choice of 5 different feathers between 0 and 60 degrees.
The Shuna is available with two different shafts; the straight glass option is the lightest of the two and is the more traditional type, whilst the Neutral bent shaft option reduces the strain on the wrists on long distance paddles and increases comfort. See the shaft options tab for more info.
